Today is Mick Jagger’s birthday
July 26th, 2011 - 11:28 pm ICT by Aishwarya BhattLondon, July 26 (THAINDIAN NEWS) Today (26th of July 2011) marks the 68th birthday of Rolling Stone singer Mick Jagger. For years, people have been telling Jagger that it’s time to place the microphone aside and retire for good.
It doesn’t seem Jagger has heard those suggestions but if he has then he has done a pretty good job by ignoring them. Just last year, Jagger was in the studios where he re-made the songs “Plundered My Soul” for the “Exile on Main St.” At 68 years Jagger is part of the band Super Heavy.
The band is planning on coming out with their latest album at the end of the year. Jagger has been active with his career for more than half a decade now. In 2005, the Rolling Stone band went on a tour and they grossed the second highest amount in the history of tours. The album released by the band before the tour was also a huge success and it received great reviews.
Rolling Stone is a British band made up of five members. The band was popular at the start of the second part of the last century. The group toured most of the major cities around the world.
