TNT Premieres All New Episode Of “Hawthorne”

hawthorne1June 23, (THAINDIAN NEWS) The medical drama “Hawthorne” Season 2 Episode 1 TV show was premiered on TNT, last Tuesday, June 22, 2010 at 9 p.m. This show is created by Emmy winner John Masius and it is shown on TNT from Sony Pictures Television in association with Jada Pinkett Smith’s 100% Womon Productions, John Masius Productions and Jamie Tarses’ Fanfare Productions. The first episode recorded many viewers glued to the screen and the channel expects that this show will catch up record number of viewers in its next episodes.

The hit series of “Hawthorne” returned with star and executive producer Jada Pinkett Smith as Christina Hawthorne who is the Chief Nursing Officer treating declining patient services and hospital budget cuts. The new episode started with the closing of Richmond Trinity Hospital and lot of staffs being transferred to James River Hospital which is in a low income area in Richmond.

Michael Vartan plays the role of Dr. Tom Wakefield, Richmond Trinity Hospital’s Chief Of Surgery who helped Christina Hawthorne’s husband during the last stages of his cancer, but now he has stepped down from his post and will treat patients. The important characters are played by Suleka Mathew as Bobbie Jackson, who is a fellow nurse and Christina Hawthorne’s best friend, David Julian Hirsh as Ray Stein, Christina Moore as Candy Sullivan, Vanessa Lengies as Kelly Epson and Hannah Hodson as Christina Hawthorne’s daughter Camille Hawthorne.

Michael Vartan seems pretty excited about his new series and he claimed that the new series of “Hawthorne” is almost like a “different show” and the season is really an amplifier for all the cast and crew. Viewers liked the first episode a lot and are waiting to see its progress in the future episodes.
