TNA Wrestling Prepares for ‘Bound For Glory’
October 1st, 2010 - 5:20 pm ICT by Angela Kaye MasonOct 1 (THAINDIAN NEWS) The world of TNA is preparing for their pay-per-view event which will be held next Sunday, October 10 without Hulk Hogan. Hogan is in the hospital awaiting surgery to place an implant in his back to stop the excruciating pain which he is constantly in.
As Mick Foley and Ric Flair met in the ring last night to loudly discuss their meeting in the ring next Thursday, they both became so excited and angry that they hit each hit themselves in the face, hard enough to draw blood. Ric yelled a few “Woo”s and Mick seemed to be barely containing his rage as well.
Ric promised that if he loses to Mick, that Mick can lower his pants and Ric will kiss his rear, “And Ric Flair doesn’t kiss anybody’s [expletive meaning rear]” Ric stated. “Well you will next Thursday,” Mick exclaimed.
Next Thursday night’s episode of ‘TNA Wrestling’ is going to be called “Before the Glory” and will feature a last man standing match between these two men. It is to be the last time these two men meet live, one on one. Several other matches are set up for that night, and many more at ‘Bound for Glory’ the following Sunday.
Mr Anderson made the announcement last night that he is “bound for glory” on 10-10-10. He is set to meet Jeff Hardy at the TNA pay-per-view wrestling event. Rob van Dam was also released by his doctor to wrestle on 10-10-10. He will be facing the man who is responsible for his injuries when he fights Abyss at ‘Bound for Glory’, that is, if Abyss survived the cage match with Kurt Angle last night.
With much blood and gore, both wrestlers managed quite a few two counts. Kurt began to climb to the top of the cage, as the announcers begged for him not to try it. As Abyss tried to pull Kurt down, both men fell, as the referee went down as well.
Abyss began to slam Angle’s head into the cage, as the unconscious referee misses it all. Just then, Mr Anderson climbed into the ring, and began to fight with the Monster Abyss. He was quickly knocked out, as the crowd chanted, and Kurt lie bleeding on the floor.
Abyss ripped the steel cage door right off of the hinges, and grabbed “Janice”, which is the name he gave to his two by four with nails embedded nails all over it in porcupine fashion. He headed back towards the ring with Janice as the match ended. The match between the two men went over from TNA Wrestling, into the next show, TNA Reaction, which gives the response of the previous matches.
Mick Foley, while getting stitches from hitting himself in the face, and tells how, as funny as it may sound, “I feel better than I have in a long time.” He went on to share how excited he is to fight Ric Flair in Bound for Glory. He plans to take the magic On October 7th, and show everyone the Ric Flair that they used to know. Ric announced that he plans to bring his whole family, to see the demise of Mick Foley.
Vince Russo was seen on camera for the first time in a great while on TNA Reaction. He shared with the audience how he had to especially wanted to work with Eric Bischoff nor Hulk Hogan. He felt that he was forced to do so, even though technically he could have quit, he had a family to support.
“Everybody knows the history,” Russo went on to say, and added that he has not let go of what happened in WCW. Although he admitted that they had worked together as professionals, Russo stated that he would like to see both Bischoff and Hogan gone.
And Brian Kendrick made Impact Player of the Week. Kendrick began to dream of one day becoming a professional wrestler when he was just ten years old. Hulk Hogan against the Ultimate Warrior was the first match which really caught his attention, and then he began to follow such heroes as Curt Hennig, Ric Flair, Shawn Michaels, and Steamboat.
