Tippi Hedren alleges that Alfred Hitchcock ruined her career

New York, Aug 3 (THAINDIAN NEWS) Veteran actress Tippi Hedren has alleged that the legendary director Alfred Hitchcock ruined her career but not her life.

The actress who is 82 years of age said that if sexual harassment laws were effective in the 1960’s, she would now be a rich woman. The veteran actress is adamant that the legendary director ruined her career when she refused to bow to his advances. However, she is quick to reiterate that he never ruined her life. The comments come as the production of her controversial relationship with the director is wrapping up.

Timpi Hedren spoke of the many sexual harassment encounters that she encountered when she joined popular cast of ‘The Girl’. She spoke clearly to the HBO network, which is looking into the relationship between Hedren and the legendary director. Hedren alleges that Hitchcock knew very well that she was engaged at the time of the filming but he still made sexual advances towards her.

The chilling revelations are the reasons why the film has been produced to portray the legendary director as a predator who demands sexual favors from his leading lady. However, it’s imperative to note that Hedren insists that he might have ruined her career but not her life.
