Mar 11, (THAINDIAN NEWS) Socialite Tinsley Mortimer is the latest celebrity to venture into the world of reality television as her very own reality series “High Society” premiered on CW last night. The reality series was successful in generating widespread attention as it chronicles the life of the Manhattan socialite along with her friends.

The debut episode itself managed to grab many eyeballs as just in the beginning of the show, the viewers get a glimpse into the life of the socialite as she reveals details of how things have been for her since her recent divorce from husband, Topper Mortimer. The socialite states that in the wake of her separation from her former husband, she had to shift from her lavish Upper East Side apartment to a loft, which turned out to be as extravagant as her previous apartment. Moreover, the episode also witnessed the fashion entrepreneur attending a rather rocking party for Marchesa designer Georgina Chapman. In the premiere episode, Tinsley Mortimer also introduced viewers to some of her family members and friends, who according to the socialite, are the people who an intrinsic part of her new single life.

Meanwhile, Tinsley Mortimer had reportedly revealed in a recent interview that the main reason which led her to come up with a reality show was to let people know that her life is not as perfect as it might seem. The socialite further implied that although many people might presume that living in the privileged world of New York was the best thing that one can ask for, things were not as easy for her as it may appear.
