Tina Fey New York, Nov 11 (THAINDIAN NEWS) Tina Fey has won the Mark Twain Prize for Humor. Well that is something for the 40-year-old comedian to be proud of because at her age, she is the youngest recipient of the award. Again not so many people have won the award before. The likes of Eddie Murphy and Woody Allen among other veteran comedians are yet to receive the award.

The award which has been won by other notables like, Richard Pryor, Billy Crystal and Bill Cosby has been in existence for 13 years now. The ceremony which is used by the organizers to help fund the Kennedy Center fetched $1.3 million. The amount was the highest the prize has managed to gross in its history.

Fey will never attend such an event and miss making people laugh. During the ceremony, Fey said that, “would be a liar and an idiot if I didn’t thank Sarah Palin for helping get me here tonight,” said the Emmy-winning star of “30 Rock” and “SNL.” “My partial resemblance and her crazy voice are the two luckiest things that have ever happened to me”

Fey will never get enough of Palin and will never miss a chance to make reference to the former Alaskan governor.
