Apr 22, (THAINDIAN NEWS) The latest episode of the musical reality show “American Idol” witnessed the elimination of yet another promising contestant and last night it was the turn of Texas singer Tim Urban. All the regular viewers of one of the most watched shows on American television were in for a huge treat last night as the musical reality show showcased a more than two-hours fund raising special event which featured a number of renowned personalities who gave stunning performances to raise money for a variety of causes.

Although Wednesday night’s show had left all the viewers highly elated as they got the opportunity to witness some spectacular performances of their favorite musical artists, things did not seem to go as expected for Tim Urban as the young singer’s dream to win the musical competition ended last night. However, the fact that the Texas singer was among the bottom three contestants during the latest episode of the show did not come as a bolt from the blue for the judges as well as the viewers as many felt that his performance of Goo Goo Dolls’ “Better Days” was really not up to the mark. Apart from Tim Urban, the other contestants who received the least number of votes from the audiences included Casey James and Aaron Kelly.

The anticipation regarding next week’s segment of the show is quite high as it has been revealed that Shania Twain would be mentoring the contestants who would be performing to her songs. The remaining participants in the show include Lee DeWyze, Crystal Bowersox, Siobhan Magnus and Michael Lynche.
