Los Angeles, Feb 25, (THAINDIAN NEWS) The American idol Season 9 is getting more exciting every day as the contestants are proceeding towards the finals. The 24 semi-finalists list saw a dramatic moment when Tim Urban was called back to join the group at the last moment as Chris Golightly was eliminated from the competition owing to some disputes over another contract he had signed with another company before coming for American Idol.

Chris Golightly was removed from the competition as American Idol does not allow any participant to participate if he or she is bound by any previous contract. Chris Golightly has reportedly denied that he was under any contract. However, recently his former manager Lawrence Franklin of Dream Projects Entertainment has said that Chris Golightly had signed a contract with boy band Dream 5 last spring.

However, Tim Urban was certainly quite happy about his return. He revealed to the judges that he did not tell his family of his inclusion until they themselves found it out at the final Hollywood night. Simon Cowell congratulated Tim Urban for his return.

Tim Urban on Wednesday performed One Republic’s “Apologize”. Though he tried to put his best, the judges found his singing weak. They reportedly said that their decision of including Chris Golightly and rejecting him was right in the initial run. All the three judges asked Tim Urban to improve his singing if he wishes to win American Idol title. What remains to be seen as of now is the result on Thursday night when the 24 contestants will be reduced to 20, with four people leaving the stage.
