Los Angeles, May 19 (THAINDIAN NEWS) Curb Records has filed a breach of contract suit against country singer Tim McGraw. According to the suit, Tim failed to comply with contractual agreements when he recorded the songs of “Emotional Traffic” much earlier than he should have.

Curb in the suit is asking the court to order Tim to pay unspecified amount in damages for breaching the agreement that they have. Curb told the court that they have specific period in the contract where Tim has to come out with a song. They suspect that Tim in a bid to meet the deadline recorded the album earlier than he should have.

The suit said due to the fact that the album was recorded much earlier, it has lost its “topical and new” qualities. The suit further asked the court to also prevent Tim from signing any other contract with another record label until any outstanding issues have been resolved.

Tim’s reps responded to the suit. They explained that the album in question had been presented to Curb on time but the label refused to release the album in a bid to trap Tim. Tim has recently been complaining about the treatment that he has been receiving from the record label. Curb and Tim have been together for almost 20 years now.
