Tim Burton’s new project Alice In wonderland is getting a cinematic treatment, starring Johnny Depp, Anne Hathaway, Alan Rickman, Timothy Spall and Australian actor Mia Wasikowska stars as Alice, with a host of other actors. The movie is to be released in the month of March in 2010. Tom Burton himself said that, “It’s a funny project. The story is obviously a classic with iconic images and ideas and thoughts. But with all the movie versions, well, I’ve just never seen one that really had any impact to me. It’s always just a series of weird events. Every character is strange and she’s just kind of wandering through all of the encounters as just a sort of observer.”

It can be said that Tim Burton is trying to keep the classic tale alive and is reworking on it tale giving it a sense of appeal with flashy and overwhelming looks to the characters, rib-tickling comedy through all the weird events lined up in the story. Walt Disney has announced that the film will be released in IMAX theaters in 3D, which is going to add greater dimensions to Tim Burton’s version of the classic tale, Alice In Wonderland. So don’t forget the red-blue glasses of yours, if you have one, as you head for the theaters.
