Reality television star Tila Tequila is one agitated woman right now, ever since the San Diego D.A. made the announcement yesterday that Shawne Merriman would not be prosecuted, on grounds of insufficient evidence.

Last week, Tila had brought charges against her former boyfriend Shawne Merriman for choking and trying to restrain her when she was making her way to leave his house. When a horde of paparazzi caught up with her, the television personality made their day by providing insight to the entire incident.

When she was asked if she had any bruises from the run in she had with Merriman, Tequila put her arms together for the camera’s benefit and exhibited what looked like to be patches of blue and black, that ran all along her upper arms. From the looks of the awful photographs of the bruises, it does seem she has had a rough time. However, it also appears that her bruises could impress or convince the D.A., who has rejected all the charges that she had brought against the Chargers LB, Merriman.

Tila, however, is not a woman who is going to take it all up meekly. She is now lashing back at the D.A.’s office with claims that the D.A. has made a reckless decision by rejecting the charges against Merriman due to lack of evidence.

Tila’s rep. said, “Tila Tequila is the victim of a violent crime. the San Diego District attorney’s decision not to press charges against Shawne Merriman for the battering of Tila Tequila demonstrates an unconscionable negligence in the discharging of their public duties. We strongly feel that justice has not been served in this matter.”
