Mar 17 (THAINDIAN NEWS) Tiger Woods and his wife, Elin Nordegren have been photographed together for the first time since Tiger crashed his SUV into the fire hydrant, and crashed his marriage and reputation into the ground. The couple was spotted while taking a walk together down the driveway of their mansion in Florida. They were both wearing Nike apparel, which is one of the few companies who will still sponsor Tiger. They have also been seen kissing outside the home recently.

Although Tiger had said that he was taking an indefinite break from golf, has now said that he expects to come back in time to play at the Masters Golf Tournament in Augusta Georgia. The CBS Television chief Sean McManus predicts that Tiger’s comeback to golf would attract as many or more viewers than OBama’s inauguration, which had 37 million viewers. “I think the first tournament Tiger plays will be the biggest media event other than the Obama inauguration in the past 10 or 15 years,” he said.

Now Tiger is about to get the “South Park Treatment.” When the popular animated television series returns for season 14, tonight at 10 pm, it will kick off the new season with an episode starring an animated version of Tiger Woods. South Park is known for it’s reputation for “starring” celebrities, with or without their permission. “The fact that it is a pretty smart show, the fact it is a popular show, and the fact it is a hip show means they can go pretty far with some of their subjects and not worry about getting sued,” said Syracuse University Prof. Robert Thompson.

He also added that comedy can make fun of situations like Tiger’s and still make serious points about social issues. He said that history books are for long term stories, journalism is to break the stories, and comedy “can take this stuff where angels fear to tread.”

The episode is about scientists doing a study on rich successful men who suddenly realize they have an addiction to sex with many many beautiful women. While they seem to be implying that they will be addressing an important social issue by having these scientists discover that the 4th grade boys on the show have the same addiction, it is very clear that this is simply a chance to make fun of Tiger, and of course, draw ratings which is, after all, the name of the television game.
