All those eager to know any news regarding the funeral of superstar Michael Jackson finally have something for their ears. The Michael Jackson memorial service will be held on the 7th of June at the Staples Center in Downtown Los Angeles. The tickets for the ceremony are priced at $25.
The memorial service will be held in two sessions, one at 10 a.m and the other at 12 p.m. It is expected that there will be a large turn out at the funeral, including quite a few high profile names. The floor seats will be occupied by the VIPs like the Jackson family and the attending celebrity guests. There are 20,000 seats available at the venue.
The venue for the memorial service is the same one in which Michael Jackson had rehearsed for his show the night before his abrupt death. Emerging news reports now confirm that the King of Pop’s body is supposed to be buried at the Forest Lawn cemetery on the Hollywood Hills. A spokesperson of the Jackson family said, “Contrary to previous news reports, the Jackson family is officially stating that there will be no public or private viewing at Neverland.”
However, fans of the singer are dismayed with the funeral announcements. Right after news of MJ’s death, fans have been paying homage to their favorite star over the week by placing flowers, hand made signs, balloons and candles in front of the Neverland ranch on the sweeping hills of Santa Barbara county. The lack of communication between the Jackson family and the public, are leaving the fans puzzled over the funeral arrangements; many who had a desire to see MJ for the one last time are now heart broken as this confusion looms large.
