May 2, (THAINDIAN NEWS) The thriller flick “Accused At 17″ released on May 1 with Nicole Anderson, Lindsay Taylor, Janet Montgomery, Stella Maeve and Cynthia Gibb in the lead roles of the film. The thriller centers around the murder of the character Dory, played by Lindsay Taylor in the movie, and what ensues after some friends come across her dead body. Nicole Anderson, who essays the role of the 17-year-old Bianca Miller in the film is accused of murdering Dory, who is her classmate in the film, after it is discovered that Bianca Miller had played a prank on Dory when she found out that the latter was in a relationship with her boyfriend. Bianca now faces a term in prison for a murder which according to her she did not commit. With her daughter’s life in a mess, Bianca’s mother Jacqui, played by Cynthia Gibb, comes to the rescue.

The thriller which is being touted as a teenage film has been directed by filmmaker Doug Campbell. He focuses on the issue of betrayal even from one’s closest friends and how a teenage girl escapes from the clutches of a false charge of murder. Critics are sure of the fact that the film will draw viewers, especially the young people who can relate to the movie to a large extent.

Nicole Anderson is now quite a popular actress after her role as Macy, but is happy with her role in the thriller. She said that “Accused At 17″ has taught her a lot about acting, after an entirely new kind of character from what she had played previously. Not only for the film, but also for her new-found friendship in Lindsay Taylor will she cherish this film forever.
