Three-day film festival begins at Aligarh Muslim University (With Image)
March 9th, 2011 - 1:04 am ICT by IANSAligarh, March 8 (IANS) A three-day film festival, Filmsaaz-11, began at the Aligarh Muslim University here Tuesday.
Noted film producer and director Faruq Masudi, freelance producer and director Subroto Sen Gupta and director Fakhruz Zaman Khan inaugurated the festival at the Kennedy Auditorium.
Shakeel Samdani, coordinator of the General Education Centre, said that 30 local short films and documentaries and 60 entries of national participants will be screened during the festival.
Adil Siddiqui, convener of the University Film Club, said that around 40 local and 60 national entries were received for the festival.
