Third Bridget Jones book announced
March 3rd, 2011 - 1:41 pm ICT by ANIMelbourne, March 3 (ANI): A third Bridget Jones book has been announced by author Helen Fielding in London.
Rumors about the next ‘Bridget Jones’ - the much-loved antics of a hopelessly single 30-something woman living in London - has been in overdrive for quite some time.
But finally, after ten years since the last novel ‘Bridget Jones: The Edge of Reason’, Fielding has confirmed that she has started to write the sequel.
Fielding read the first three pages of the new diary, to a rapt audience, at swanky London hotspot, Shoreditch House Yesterday.
The English novelist has also confirmed that she’s already in talks with film bosses.
“I will be working on both the book and the film but I don’t know if they’re the same thing yet. It’s not been decided,” the Daily Telegraph quoted her as saying.
She also commented that she loves the idea of visiting Bridget having a mid-thirties baby crisis. (ANI)
