Theron to be honoured at Palm Springs film fest
December 23rd, 2011 - 1:53 am ICT by IANSLos Angeles, Dec 23 (IANS) Actress Charlize Theron will be conferred with a special award for her independent movie work at the upcoming Palm Springs Film Festival in California.
The Oscar-winning actress will receive the Variety Indie Impact Award at a star-studded gala event in January in recognition of her long-time support of independent film, reports contactmusic.com.
Previous recipients of the awards include Philip Seymour Hoffman and Mark Wahlberg.
