Theatre festival to be held in Thrissur

Noted Indian director Mysore Shrinivas Sathyu, popularly known as M.S. Sathyu, will inaugurate a theatre festival in Thrissur, organized by Nataka Souhridam from April 3 to April 5 as part of its 10th anniversary celebrations. The plays to be staged are Kurthippadam (Malayalam), Agni Mattu Male (Kannada) and Mahadevbhai (English). M.S. Sathyu, critic Sadanand Menon, dramatist G. Kumara Varma and academic M.V. Narayanan will take part in seminars to be held on April 4 and April 5. An exhibition of theatre-related photographs and posters, curated by Sadanand Menon, will also be held. – Sampurn Media
