Los Angeles, Mar 18 (THAINDIAN NEWS) ‘The Wonder Years’ star Danica McKellar is expecting her first child with husband Mike Verta. “Mike and I could not be more thrilled. I am excited to embark on ‘The Wonder Years’ of my own kids,” Danica McKellar said. She recently played a guest role on the popular CBS comedy ‘The Big Bang Theory’. “I wanted to put off the [pregnancy] test because I didn’t want any distractions. That only lasted a day — I couldn’t stop thinking about it and I caved! You can’t try to put that off. When you do take the home pregnancy test, it doesn’t quite seem real. But when you see the baby and the heartbeat on the ultrasound, it’s so incredible.”

The parents-to-be are overjoyed with the news, and are waiting anxiously for their bundle of joy to arrive. When the couple recently went for a checkup, then they were so happy that both of them started crying, and later Danica said that both of them are simply over the moon.

Danica enjoyed immense success as little Winnie Cooper in the show ‘The Wonder Years’, and when the show ended, then she went back to her studies. She graduated Summa cum Laude from UCLA in Mathematics. She also has a new theorem named after her – Chayes-McKellar-Winn Theorem, as she was responsible for proving it.
