Miami, Feb 8, (THAINDIAN NEWS) The halftime performance at the Super Bowl took the audience to a bygone era, as the popular rock n roll band of the 70’s, “The Who”, took the stage to enthrall the audience. The good news for those who were not present at the venue, or missed out the game on television or on the internet is that a video recording of the performance of “The Who” is available on the XBox live and the Wii. Moreover, the band itself had recorded a special version of their performance, called the “The Who Super Bowl S-Mashup”.
The performance of ‘The Who” at the halftime of the Super Bowl was no less entertaining than it would have been at their heyday. The performance of the band was as energetic as it was 30 years back. The band performed a medley of some of the most popular songs of their career, like the “Pinball Wizard, ” “Who Are You”, “Baba O’Reilly” and “Won’t Get Fooled Again”. They also included a tiny snippet of their wildly popular refrain of “Tommy’s” “See Me.”
Needless to say, Roger Daltrey and Peter Townsend had the audience on their feet within minutes of beginning their performance. On the other hand, the performance did not go without their share of criticism. Many of the observers felt that vintage band could have done better, or that at least, they fell short of the expectations that generally surround a Super Bowl halftime show, particularly in light of the standards set by the previous performers. However, one could not miss the nostalgia and the heartfelt conviction that exuded from every note of the performance.

The worst halftime performance in it’s history!! it was a pitiful attempt of music.
Queen Latifah was just as terrible.
Poor choices for musical performances!
