AMC’s television show “The Walking Dead” is already receiving rave reviews. The Walking Dead takes us on a tour and gives the viewers a slice of reality. The television show is based on a comic book which bears the same name. The story revolves around the psychological impact that every situation leaves and how the utter destruction affects the survivors.

The story revolves around a cop; Rick Grimes who meets with certain unforeseen circumstances Rick is shot during an encounter and ends up in hospital with coma. When Rick wakes up he finds himself among the corpses in the hospital. There is a search on for survivors and family members before ending up in Hell .The Walking Dead treads on a path where there is no hope.

It makes you weep throughout so tissue boxes are an absolute necessity .The actors played their part well in The Walking Dead .The comic book lovers claim that The Walking Dead could not do justice  as certain incidents and plots were left out. However there is a sense of restlessness and anxiety as the story unfolds.

There is a wide array of abuses and the viewers get a taste of that. However the great ratings do make up for all the flaws as The Walking Dead –Season One gets 9 out of 10.
