November 1, 2010 (Sampurn Wire): Halloween was shown good this Sunday with AMC coming up the best treat for the holiday. The new zombie apocalypse drama from AMC was launched on this Sunday with the celebration of Halloween, turning double fascinating for the viewers of AMC.
The sunken eyes, exposed innards, rotting flesh and really bad teeth frightened everyone on the Halloween day. When you sat at the edge of your seat, the filmmakers were laughing with the thought that how awfully they had represented the human body to frighten you.
‘The Walking Dead’ showed police officer Rick Grimes leading a group of survivors in a world flooded by zombies. It gave you the feel of a world, which is ravaged by a zombie epidemic. It tells a survivalist story, which showed how lives get radically changed in the face of imminent doom.
The Sunday’s opening episode was of 90 minutes duration. It narrated the sad story of Rick Grimes (Andrew Lincoln), who is a stoic Southern lawman. He slept into comma for weeks following a roadside shootout. Grimes woke up only to find himself alone and abandoned in an empty hospital.
The first season of ‘The Walking Dead’ consisted of six episodes. Let’s watch what the show has in store in this season.
