“The Walking Dead” Episode 2 Gets Attention

Nov 8, (THAINDIAN NEWS) The American audience were waiting with bated breaths to watch “The Walking Dead” season 1 episode 2 subtitled as “Guts”. The Michelle MacLaren directed episode managed to run shiver through the spine of the audiences and Frank Darabont kept the audience asking for more with his wonderful story.
In the premiere, the audience watched how Rick Grimes land himself into a world of zombies which seemed to him to be a disorienting and post apocalyptic nightmare. However, after moving out of the hospital he searches for his son and wife and later finds out that they have also turned into a zombies. In the last episode, Rick Grimes escapes from the tank of survivors which was aided by Glenn. However, he joins another group of survivors but they tell him that his presence has brought the whole group and their location to “The Walking Dead” creatures’ attention.
The ‘walkers’ attempt to break in their previously safe department store and they make a radio contact with Shane and Lori’s group. However, Shane and Lori decides not to help them. In the end, conscience pricks their mind and Glenn manages to draw attention away from the store by sounding a Dodge Challenger alarm. The rest of the group except Dixon manages to run out of the van and Glenn runs away with them immediately. The gory episode was liked by the audience a lot and like the first episode it managed to pull in many viewers which appreciated the performance of the actors. The audience is now bracing themselves up to see what happens to Dixon in the next episode “Tell It to the Frogs”.
