‘The Voice’ show is in the quarterfinals stage

New York, June 8 (THAINDIAN NEWS) The live band music talent show “The Voice” has reached the quarterfinal stage. The show which is exclusive to NBC has received a lot of hype. There are eight contestants remaining in the show currently.

Raquel Castro of Team Christina who is also the youngest contestant on the show performed “Blow” by Ke$ha during the first part of the quarterfinal stage. Next on the stage was Team Blake’s Jared who performed a piece from Kings of Leon titled “Use Somebody.” After that performance, Beverly of Team Christina performed “I’m the Only One” by Melissa Etheridge.

Dia Frampton came up next for Team Blake and performed the song “Heartless” by Kanye West. Another Team Blake rocker Xenia came up with Jessie J’s “Price Tag.” Team Christina’s Lily Elise performed “Big Girls Don’t Cry” by Fergie. Patrick Thomas from Team Blake was next on the stage and he performed Lee Ann Womack’s “I Hope You Dance.” The last performance on the night was given by Frenchie Davis of Team Christina. He sang “When Love Takes Over.”

The show will move to the next stage next week when some of the contestants will be evicted from the show. Two contestants each from all the groups will be sent packing from the show.
