The television personality is all ready to settle down with her television writer beau Lamar Sally and it seems that the wedding bells are already ringing for them. Sherri Shepherd got engaged to her beau Lamar Sally during Christmas holidays (December 26). The couple recently announced the news to the media. The “Less Than Perfect” actress took to the social networking site to announce the news to her fans and share her happiness.

Moreover, her representative released a statement where he confirmed the news and described whole event. In the statement, it was stated that when Sherri Shepherd came to Lamar Sally’s home in Los Angeles, after her trip from San Diego, she was surprised to see that all the accommodations of his home are decorated nicely with lights. The representative said that these decorations were done by one of Lamar Sally’s best friends who was already aware that his television writer friend is going to propose Sherri Shepherd. The statement also reads that Sherri Shepherd’s dog was wearing a Santa beard along with a hat and her favorite food was the table. Lamar Sally, reportedly, bent down on his knees and popped the question to his girlfriend with a gorgeous engagement ring in that perfect romantic ambiance.

Lamar Sally’s close friends told a reputed media source that the television writer took permission from Sherri Shepherd’s 5 year old son before proposing her for marriage. Sherri Shephard and Lamar Sally were introduced at a party by one of former’s close friend’s fiance one year back. The couple is, reportedly, planning to tie the knot in August, this year.
