May 21st, 2010 - 10:05 pm ICT by Aishwarya BhattLos Angeles, May 21 (THAINDIAN NEWS) ‘The Tudors’ star Jonathan Rhys Meyers is back in rehab. And apparently this is not the first time for the actor, but a record fourth time. He has had a drinking problem since long, and his representative confirmed that the actor wanted to sober up, so he checked into an alcohol rehabilitation program. And according to reports, he was inspired to attend the rehab program because in the recent past he was banned from flying the United Airlines, as he was sloshed and had also created a huge ruckus there.
It may be recalled that, Jonathan Rhys Meyers was recently banned from flying the United Airlines, after he indulged in drunken behavior during a flight. The Irish actor has been having numerous problems with alcohol, and this is not the first time he got into a mess because of it. Rhys Meyers was said to have taken in more beer in the first class lounge, where he was waiting for his flight to New York. When it was time to fly, the airline officials barred him because of “disruptive” and “belligerent” behavior that they said was getting totally out of control.
In the past, Meyers has been in rehab in 2005. Then two years later, he went again in the year 2007. Then predictably he went again, after a two-year hiatus in 2009.
