London, Mar 29 (ANI): Desperate Housewives Susan (Teri Hatcher) and Gaby (Eva Longoria) are not the first ladies to have locked lips with another woman in TV history, for there are other actresses who have shared lesbian kisses on the small screen before the popular duo.
The News of the world has published a list of the top ten girl-on-girl kisses on TV that sent ratings soaring and complaints pouring in:
1. Beth Jordache (Anna Friel) and Margaret Clemence (Nicola Stephenson) kiss
Brookside’s Beth Jordache (Anna Friel) and Margaret Clemence (Nicola Stephenson) made TV history when they became the first girls to smooch on the small screen in 1994.
2. Sarah Barnes ends up in a clinch with her dad Mike’s girlfriend Zoe Carpenter
Hollyoaks’ Sarah Barnes (Loui Batley) ended up in a clinch with her dad Mike’s girlfriend Zoe Carpenter (Zoe Lister) in November 2008.
3. Billy Piper’s lesbian kiss in ‘Diary Of A Call Girl’

‘Buffy The Vampire Slayer’s Willow (Alyson Hannigan) and Tara (Amber Benson) had what was probably the first lesbian long-term relationship on the small screen in 2002.
