Sep 9, (THAINDIAN NEWS) This weeks performance round featuring the top 10 acts on ‘America’s Got Talent’ made it evident that the judges and the voters will have a hard time choosing the top 4 contenders. The top 10 acts were seen performing out of their skins to secure a position among the final four. In spite of the speculations, the results have been a shocker for some and a relief for many. The four acts who will be seen competing in the final round for the $1 million prize money and the chance to headline a show in Las Vegas are: Michael Grimm, Prince Poppycock, Jackie Evancho and Fighting Gravity. With three singers and just one dance group still in the hunt, Fighting Gravity have strengthened its position of being one of the front runners in ‘America’s Got Talent’.
Using simple lifting techniques and innovative stage props, Fighting Gravity have been the group to watch out for since their very first audition. During their performance round this week, the judges said that they are apt for performing in Las Vegas. Earlier, judge Howie Mandel had compared them to the Blue Man Group. Their moon landing based dance routine in this week’s performance round managed to amaze the judges once again and Sharon Osbourne urged the American to put them through to the next round.
Prince Poppycock started off as a bizarre and unexpected act which gradually took the competition by storm. Jackie Evancho, too stunned the judges and audience from her very first appearance on TV. The 10 year old opera singer not only became a favorite of the judges, but also managed to pull in enough votes to make it through to the final 4 on ‘America’s Got Talent’.
