‘The Talk’ to be telecast on CBS
October 18th, 2010 - 8:07 pm ICT by Aishwarya BhattLos Angeles, Oct 18 (THAINDIAN NEWS) TV viewers should get ready for The Talk which kicks off on the CBS network later in the day. The show will be aired at the same time that soap opera As The World Turns used to be aired before it was scrapped a month ago. After the conclusion of that show, TV bosses announced that ‘The Talk’ would be its successor.
The show will feature 6 famous moms with Sara Gilbert as the lead character. The remaining 5 that will be starring on the show include Leah Remini, Holly Robinson Peete, Julie Chen, Sharon Osbourne and Marissa Jaret Winokur. The list of prominent moms that will be starring on the how have given their word that Politics is not on their agenda and no one will be quitting like what occurred on The View a week ago.
The show’s executive producer, Brian Bessey stated in an interview with USA Today that the show plans to tackle the commonest news of every day and could be about anything that the hosts find interesting or amusing.
One of the moms on the show, Sara Gilbert has also denounced comparisons that the show is not different from ABC’s The View.
