“The Talk” Premieres On CBS

The TalkOct 19, (THAINDIAN NEWS) After much anticipation, finally the long awaited show of Sara Gilbert, “The Talk” premiered on CBS yesterday. The talk show has replaced “As the World Turns”. “The Talk” featured renowned public figures like Sharon Osbourne, Leah Remini, Julie Chen, Holly Robinson Peete, Marissa Jaret Winokur and Sara Gilbert talking about the latest headlines of the day and giving their own point of view, however, through the “eyes” of mother. The premiere managed to pull in audience owing to its wonderful star-cast and interesting topics of discussion.

“The Talk” also featured celebrity interviews and special segments for mothers. A source close to the show revealed that “The Talk” will feature celebrity guests like Jennifer Lopez, Christie Brinkley, Jamie Lee Curtis, former South Carolina first lady Jenny Sanford and also Chandra Wilson. Previously in one of her interviews Sara Gilbert said that she would be discussing more about her personal life in the show as after coming out she feels its a whole new world for her. The show opened with the surprise messages of the children of the hosts and also their families who wished the hosts good luck for the show.

Sara Gilbert, who is the creator and co-producer of the show seemed excited in the show. Christie Brinkley was the first celebrity guest on the show who talked about Botox, organic living and chemistry. She even spoke about her divorce with her husband and Christie Brinkley said that she has moved on with her life. Marissa Jaret Winokur was seen interviewing people and asking some weird questions to people. Sharon Osbourne, in the end of the first episode of “The Talk” said that if the hosts had been polite on the premiere, then the next day they would be “different”.
