The ‘Sounds of Music’ Cast Reunite on Oprah

Sep 28 (THAINDIAN NEWS) Forty five years after the hills came to life on the big screen in ‘The Sounds of Music’, the cast of the movie classic will be re-united on the Oprah Winfrey show tomorrow, Friday, October 29. According to ‘Harpo’, the entire cast of the Academy Award winning musical from 1965 will be on stage with Oprah.
Those stars include Julie Andrews and Christopher Plummer. Julie Andrews is no longer able to sing, however, since having non cancerous throat nodules removed from her throat back in 1997.
Plummer is expected to discuss how the film has effected him throughout the decades. The von Trapp Children will also sing in a performance which will include members of the real von Trapp family. They will sing such songs as “My Favorite Things” and “Do Re Mi”.
