Los Angeles, May 4 (THAINDIAN NEWS) Many people have started wondering if MTV is doing the right thing by introducing so many spin-offs to their hit show “Jersey Shore.” With spin-offs announced for Snooki and JWoww as well as another for Pauly D, The Situation has also announced that he has a spin-off coming up next year.

The Situation and his team released statement shortly after signing the deal with MTV to have the spin-off. MTV has confirmed that they have signed a series development deal. According to PopTattle, the spin-off will start showing in 2012.

However a pilot of the show will be shown in premiered much earlier. Reports say based on the success of the show, subsequent episodes will be filmed. The Jersey Shore crews are currently in Florence, Italy where the fourth season of the show is being filmed. The mayor of Florence has made it clear to the show’s executives that public consumption of alcohol and other stuff will not be tolerated in the state.

MTV has previously confirmed that JWoww and Snooki will be living in an apartment in the spin-off. There is also a spin-off for Pauly D as well. MTV maintains that the spin-off will affect the ratings of the real “Jersey Shore” show.
