Rachael Ray Jan 14 (THAINDIAN NEWS) Red Carpet Secrets of the Stars

Dr. Youn came to “The Rachael Ray Show” today to share with us some of the secrets that the celebrities use while they are getting ready for their famous “walk down the red carpet.” He showed us a massager-type machine that literally “rubs” cellulite out of the legs and thighs, after a month of treatment. It does not get rid of it, it just helps to smooth out the surface. They showed before and after pictures, and the results were quite noticeable.

The next thing he showed us was how to cover blemishes and such on the back of celebrities so that they can wear their low-back dresses. He suggested a chemical peel, which usually has very good results if you keep up the treatments. The model who let him show this procedure on the show said that it is a little tingly, but does not burn. Then Dr. Youn told us about laser treatments for the face, which tightens the skin, improves sun damage and closes pores, for $150 to $200 a treatment, and usually, up to 5 treatments are needed. There was even a procedure to stop you from sweating. Using botox in the armpits will cause you not to sweat under your arms, and it usually lasts for 6 months. It interrupts the nerves in the armpits that cause you to sweat. It can cost you up to $1000 to cease sweating under your arms for up to 6 months. It requires about 12 shots per arm.

“Michelle Trachtenberg” star of “Gossip Girl” & “Mercy”

The next guest on “The Rachael Ray Show” was Michelle Trachtenberg who says it is kind of fun to play the manipulating “mean girl.” She said a lot of times the people who she meets on the street thinks she is a real nurse. To be on the show, in order to make it seem real, she had to go through needle training, to learn how to insert catheters and such. She said it was really freaky because she is terribly afraid of needles. She wears a ring on her “wedding finger” but she says “No, I am not married, I just wear it to keep the creepy old dudes away.” You may remember her from “Buffy, The Vampire Slayer.” She played Buffy’s little sister.

Viewer Lost 95 Lbs With Rachael Recipes!!

Shari shared her story with us, beginning with how she was overweight as a child, and growing up that way made her life very difficult. She saw Rachael cooking one day, and she seemed to be having so much fun that Shari thought “If I can cook like that, things would be okay!” She has gone from a size 18 to a size 2. We saw video of her using fresh ingredients, and very little fat to cook, and she said that she keeps up with how much she eats and how many calories it is, and also now has an exercise program that she loves. Rachael has almost 250 “Figure Friendly Recipes” which can be found here .

When Shari came out (they had her walk out from behind a picture of herself before) she looked incredible. Rachel joked about how tiny she was, and offered her a sandwich.

Rachel asked her a question which made a very good point. Although Rachel was thrilled that Shari used her recipes, Rachael wanted to know if Shari thought that maybe the weight loss was simply due to the fact that Shari actually started cooking as opposed to just eating whatever, package food and take-out. Shari agreed, the fresh ingredients, and keeping up with what she ate played a huge part in her success. Shari said, however, that should could not have done it without Rachael.

“What’s For Dinner?”

For today’s “What’s for Dinner” segment of “The Rachael Ray Show” the recipe was “Deep Winter Minestra-Beans and Green Soup.” It is a delicious-looking mixture of different ingredients including smoked bacon, mushrooms, cannellini beans, and kale, which Rachael said was one of her favorite ingredients. Added with several other things, including pasta and cheese, this soup is sure to warm up your day! The recipe can be found here..

So that was today’s “Rachael Ray Show” and I hope you enjoyed reading about it as much as I enjoyed watching. Tune in tomorrow on NBC AT 11 am EST, or you can always look for my next review! Thanks for reading! Before running off to cook this recipe, you’d love to “Buzz Up” and Retweet this review, wouldn’t you? Thanks! :~)
