Washington, November 16 (ANI): Rihanna has revealed that many bands including ‘The Prodigy’ have inspired her forthcoming album ‘Rated R’.
The ‘Disturbia’ hitmaker mentioned that she listened to the dance legends while writing the lyrics.
“The new album is inspired by a lot of different songs like hip hop, there’s a lot of bass and there’s a lot of rock, I listen to a lot of Prodigy and Chase and Status,” Contactmusic quoted her as saying.
She added: “We actually worked with them on a lot of the production and they helped develop the new sound.”
Rihanna has also teamed up with former Guns N’ Roses guitarist Slash for the album.
She said: “We have collaborations on there, people like Slash, who is the ultimate rock star.”
Rihanna will launch the album with a special concert at a secret location in London. (ANI)
