Washington, Jan 9 (ANI): The Golden Globes official website has caused quite a stir after it put a star next to the name of American actress Anne Hathaway, which was on the list of nominees.

The Hollywood Foreign Press Association, which runs the awards show, had listed the names of all the nominees on its website, with a star next to Hathaways name in the Best Performance by an Actress in a Motion Picture - Drama category.

No explanation has been given for the star by the HFPA, but it does suggest that the actress could be one of the winners of the award on January 11.

However, Hathaway does not believe that she will be a winner, and is instead convinced that Meryl Streep, her The Devil Wears Prada co-star, will walk off with the big prize.

There’’s just no touching her, Contactmusic quoted her as saying.

Her performance in Rachel Getting Married earned her a nomination last month, and she’’s up against Streep, Kate Winslet, Angelina Jolie and Kristin Scott Thomas. (ANI)
