The biggest modeling shows on television are back with their new offerings and three hours packed with everything you associate with a supermodel.

The 12th cycle of America’s Next Top Model premieres first. Two back-to-back hours of Tyra and her new batch of hopeful models. There would be sobbing on the sets, clumsy auditions and an unique entrance from Tyra, probably beating last year’s Tyra-bot. At the end of the show Tyra once again says “You are no longer in the running to be America’s Next Top Model” to one heartbroken contestant. Then there is an hour for you to catch your breath because at the end of it comes Make Me A Supermodel. The show is still young compared to America’s Next Top Model, but that perhaps works for them because they are learning from the other show’s mistakes. It promises more fashion than reality TV drama and have continued having a stronger set of fashion models.

On Make Me A Supermodel this season Tyson says that he will not be a judge because he has to mentor te boys. Nikki Taylor has left the show for domestic pursuits. So the new mentor happens to be Nicole Trunfio, who enters the show in a plexi-glass cube suspended in air. What an entrance!

From then it is straight down to business as the models get n to the photo shoot and lingerie. So sit back and let the high-fashion beauties take control.
