‘The Lord of the Rings’ star is broke
August 23rd, 2010 - 12:37 am ICT by IANSLondon, Aug 22 (IANS) “The Lord of the Rings” film trilogy did little to boost actor Billy Boyd’s bank balance as he is completely broke.
The Scottish star played Hobbit Peregrin ‘Pippin’ Took in the hit movies, which generated a massive $2.7 billion in profits, but Boyd admits he is still a struggling actor, reports imdb.com.
“I don’t have any money. We were unknown actors. We did it for peanuts (very little money), and for food,” he said.
