Dec.26, (THAINDIAN NEWS) After successfully completing two seasons, the audience of ‘The Librarian series’, are once again searching for some interesting dope on the TV show. For those who are yet in the unknown let us put some light on the Australian show that spans the comedy genre. On 31st Oct of 2007, ABC TV went on to premiere the first episode of The Librarian called ‘Should Old Acquaintance Be Forgot?”. The show, in a single episode hit the 5th spot on the nightly TV rankings. This was the start of the first season which went on to air a total of 6 episodes ending on December 2007 with the last episode titled ‘And Nothing But The truth’.
The main cast of the series which has been produced and written by Robyn Butler and Wayne Hope respectively, included Robyn Butler (as Frances O’Brien), Roz Hammond (as Christine Grimwood), Bob Franklin (as Neil Slider), Kim Gyngell (as father Harris), Heidi Arena (as Dawn McConnaughey), Stephen Ballantyne (as Matthew Baryshnikov), Josh Lawson (as Lachie Davis), Nicole Nabout (as Nada al Farouk ), Keith Brockett (as Ky Lee), and Wayne Hope (as Terry O’Brien).
The same star cast returned for a Season 2 edition of the same show on the TV sets on 5th August of 2009 with “Just Returned”. Like season 1, the second edition had a total of six episodes which ended on the 9th September of 2009. The viewership may have increased with the seasons but the rankings did not. Even after a guest appearance made by Tony Martin, Grant Piro, Stephen Curry and Greg Stone, the show still has no update on its upcoming seasons, if any.
