The last performance of Susan Boyle

Susan Boyle The much anticipated finals of the third edition of British talent hunt show, “Britain’s Got Talent 2009″ came to an end with the beautiful voice of Susan Boyle. The show was aired on the night of 30th May with the viewers all eager to see how Susan Boyle (who has become an overnight sensation) would fare in the final round of the show.

A week before, Susan was bruised and battered by the media in the wake of her performance, that was so very mediocre by her standards. However, on the night of the 30th she back to her best. For the final performance, she returned to the stage with, “I Dreamed a Dream” from “Les Mis©rables”, the song that gave her overnight fame. Her final rendition of, “I Dreamed a Dream” bettered last her last version of the song so much so that the audience began to get on their feet even before the song was halfway through.

After her final performance that swept everyone off their feet, the host of the show made some comments acknowledging immense pressure that she had to go through during the entire week, to these comments Boyle replied, “I want to thank the people for all the support they’ve given me, especially the people at home and people in the audience. Thank you all very much.”

The grand finale of the”Britain’s Got Talent 2009″, which is a part of the part of the Got Talent series came to an end with, Susan Boyle was being placed second while the Dance Troupe Diversity was announced the winner.
