, the flick releasing worldwide on the 14th of January and distributed by Columbia pictures has a star cast boasting of names like Christoph Waltz, Jay Chou, Cameron Diaz in supporting roles has the comedian Seth Rogen in a pivotal role, that of a superhero which has been quite an achievement for the actor in terms of his performance.
The movie has some real life action sequences which the comedian had to perform with confidence as most of the actions were performed for real. According to the buzz, the actor Seth Rogan was simply at his wits end as he saw cars crashing, buildings falling like a pack of cards and utter confusion and chaos due to the mass destruction in real life.
The actor, well known for his stand up comedy has gone on to say that he was kind of apprehensive during the action sequences as the film makers wanted to shoot it with as much real life action as possible and during such shoots, it becomes extremely important for the actors to be alert in order to save themselves from any injury.
The actor who is very much loved for his dead pan comedies was certainly quite terrified with some of the action sequences but he bravely sailed through filming them with an air of a true brave performer.
Seth Rogen, who has co- scripted the new version of the movie with Evan Goldberg and both have made it into a contemporary rather than a classic. The movie has some very important material from the original retold in it but otherwise there have been completely new ideas incorporated into the storyline.
Seth Rogen has many future projects coming up like Jay and Seth vs. The Apocalypse, Live with It etc. Then there are his voice overs which include projects like Paul, Kungfu Panda 2: The Kaboom of Doom etc.
The movie releases in India in English, Hindi, Tamil and Telegu.
