Gary Coleman had an 11-year-old will with him. The will, created in 1999, had been revealed yesterday at the Fourth Judicial District Court in Provo, Utah. The will, which is a text of two pages, has left no asset in the name of his ex-wife, Shannon Price.
The two-page text has ensured that the complete estate of Gary Coleman is in the possession of a trust that has been created in his manager’s name. The manager, Dion Mial, has also been labeled as the executor of the estate by the will.
Gary Coleman walked down the aisle with Shannon Price in 2007. The will articulates that it had been inscribed eight years prior to their matrimony. There is no supplementary mention of his wife in the will.
Gary Coleman’s will leaves his full estate in the hands of ‘The Trustee of the Millennium Edge Trust’, which was established in Mial’s name. If Mial is incapable of carrying out the will, his sister, Monique Madrid Marcum, will get involved and take over.
Dion Mial and his attorney, Kent Alderman, have maintained that the 1999 will take precedence over a handwritten 2007 postscript that has elucidated Shannon Price as the solitary beneficiary. Price, predictably, has employed a legal representative to endorse the more recent paperwork of 2007.
Mial has declared that Price is guilty of shamelessly endeavoring to derive some benefit from Coleman’s demise and the hype that it has generated.
Coleman and Price had annulled their matrimonial alliance in 2008. However, Price has asserted that she and Gary had patched up and were keen to restore marital vows prior to the actor’s untimely demise.
The will has expressly stated that Coleman, who breathed his last breath owing to cerebral hemorrhage, desires to undergo cremation. Coleman has uttered in the will that, after his remnants undergo cremation, he would prefer a private wake organized by those people, who have had no economic relationship with him and who can fervently utter that they genuinely cared for the betterment of Gary Coleman.
