Jan 7 (THAINDIAN NEWS) The first segment of “The Ellen DeGeneres Show” today featured “audience talent” where people from the audience were called up to show their unusual talent. It was…entertaining and funny, with everything¬† from a girl who let someone stand on her tummy, to another who could play “Mary Had A Little Lamb” on two flutes through her nose. They each got a laptop computer from Ellen. Ellen was able to dance again today, good to see her back is still better. Tony congratulated Ellen for the “People’s Choice Award” that she won for “Favorite Talk Show” at the awards last night. She stated that her New Year’s Resolution is to be the Most Watched Talk Show in the World. She is calling it her “Quest for World Domination.” Last year, her goal was to be on the cover of “O” magazine, which she did.

Wanda Sykes was the first guest star today on “The Ellen DeGeneres Show.” She got married, to a woman, had twins, went to Pennsylvania for the Holidays, and hosted “The Wanda Sykes Show” on “Fox Television” late night on Saturdays. She said that the only subject she sees as off limits on her show is “Oprah” She added, “I don’t mess with Oprah, Oprah could buy me!” She does, however, talk about our president. She said she feels he is fair game.

The last guest was 5 year old Kylee Kim from the Sony commercials. She corrected Ellen, “I am not 5 anymore, I am five and a half.” She loved Ellen in “Finding Nemo” in which she was the voice of “Dory”. She asked Ellen not to forget her name like she did Nemo’s. This little girl was adorable!

So I guess we will see how Ellen’s “Quest for World Domination” comes along. It will, if nothing else, be fun to watch her try!
