Dec 22 (THAINDIAN NEWS) “The Ellen DeGeneres Show” starts off with Ellen showing us a new car. She is going to play a fake game with a woman from Ellenwood Kansas, and then give the woman a car. She then talked about the movie “New Moon” that she had gone to see, and she loved it. After that, in spite of the fact that her back is still hurting, she danced around the audience. She said she wasn’t going to let it stop her from dancing.

Today’s show was a review of the “Dough-vember” game week. Ellen showed clips of her trip to see Oprah. She drove there is her SUV, and went to a taping of Oprah’s show. Before leaving, she stopped by to purchase a copy of “O” magazine. Ellen then read us a letter from a fan of “Twilight” who was 34 years old, and claims to be the oldest but yet biggest fan of the movie. Ellen calls her to go to the premier of “New Moon”, and of course there was much screaming and excitement on the other end of the phone.

For “Dough-vember” game week on “The Ellen DeGeneres Show”, Ellen played “Pictionary” with two audience members. One of them was the women from Ellenwood, Kansas. Ellen draws a picture of her son, then draws a picture of a car, after discussing the fact that the woman’s car smokes when she drives it. Ellen gave her a brand new SUV.

The guest star on “The Ellen DeGeneres Show” was “John Travolta“. He thanked everyone in the country and the world for all of the love and support they his family had received. His daughter.Ella, was there, she is starring in the movie “Old Dogs” with her dad. She is nine years old and this was her first talk show. His wife is also in the movie, along with Robin Williams, who grew up with John Travolta. He shared with Ellen that he enjoys playing tennis almost every night at midnight, with some of his staff. When Ella came out, John had a very hard time holding back his tears of pride. Ellen showed her one of her dad’s commercials that he did before making it big. A band-aid commercial, they all laughed about.

Next, Ellen stated that it was time to play another game. It was called “Know or Go”. She called up three audience members, and they stood up on a platform on stage. When the first contestant got her question wrong, she dropped through the floor. All three ended up getting dropped, and then Ellen called them all back out. The two runner ups got ten speed bikes, and the winner got brand new Sam-sung kitchen appliances, and a chance to win $25,000.

Ellen then brought back the woman who won the car at the beginning of the show. Ellen mentioned that fact that “Tanya” was a full time student who may have to drop out of school because she couldn’t pay for it. Ellen gave her five thousand dollars!
