ellen Jan 13 (THAINDIAN NEWS) On “The Ellen DeGeneres Show” we learned that she is busy every night filming “Hollywood Week” on “American Idol.” She said that she usually is in bed by 9 pm, but that last night they were in the studio filming until…today, and she is so tired. She said it is very hard to be a judge, because she wants to be honest, but it is hard to be mean. There is a name for people who are mean, and that name is “Simon” she joked.

Ellen added that she loves both her jobs, because on Idol, people sing, and on Ellen, people dance…at which point she stood up and started dancing through the audience. Then she showed us few clips from the American Idol tryouts. She finally shared her ulterior motive to being on Idol. “American Idol is seen all over the world, which will make my “World Domination” go easier.”Made me think of an old cartoon, Pinky and the Brain, and his goal to rule the world. “Are you pondering what I’m pondering, Pinky?”

“Josh Holloway,” from the television show “Lost” was the first guest. This show is apparently so famous that President Obama said that they will not interrupt “Lost” for the State of the Union Address. When Ellen asked Josh what he thought about that, he laughed,”Well that’s the state of the union.” “Lost” is in it’s final season, and Josh said that so far, it is still making no sense. He said he keeps thinking”Okay, it will make sense soon, but so far it doesn’t” but he assures us that it will when the season ends. Josh has been voted sexiest man alive.

“Matthew Goode” from the movies “Leap Year” and “A Single Man” was Ellen’s next guest. He sat down and said, “Oh I am so relieved you weren’t dancing at me,” to which Ellen replied,” Oh I don’t dance at people, it isn’t like a weapon or anything,”and the audience bursts into laughter. He shot his last movie in Ireland, which he said was absolutely beautiful. He has a 10 month old baby who went along to Ireland, as did his wife, and “Maggie” their dog. Both of his movies are now playing in theaters.

Then along came “Gloriana” who shocked the world by beating “Lady Gaga” in the American Music Award’s Best New Artist category. Gloriana performed their song “How Far Do You Wanna Go?” which was awesome!

Ellen ended the show with another clip of American Idol, this time from tonight’s episode. Today’s show was pretty good. Thanks for reading, and ReTweeting or Buzzing up!
