ellen Jan 14 (THAINDIAN NEWS) Ellen started off today’s “Ellen Degeneres Show” with her favorite game “Blindfolded Musical Chairs.” You may remember her Christmas version of this game when they played “Blindfolded Musical Santa’s” and the “chairs” were actually shirtless Santa’s. This game was much more tame, with stools as chair, but still fun. All of the contestants got a “Nook Evia” from “Barnes and Noble.” Then Ellen did her signature dance around the audience. Although Ellen cannot talk much about “Hollywood Week” on “American Idol” which she is filming every night, she did say that she is having so much fun! She also is going to be showing clips from “American Idol” every day on “The Ellen DeGeneres Show.” She said that she calls Simon “Sassy Simon” just like one of the contestants did, and that Simon calls her trouble, cause she is definitely giving him trouble! She also laughed about the fact that “Conan O’Brien”, “Oprah Winfrey”, “Simon Cowell”, and “Tyra Banks” are all leaving their shows, but said she is not going anywhere.

Ellen showed a clip of yesterday’s show when she asked a man who works in the world’s tallest building in Dubai if she could put her flag on top of the building, to aid in her “Quest for World Domination” and the man did not know her, and did know Oprah. She found out last night that the building was struck by lightening last night, right on top, where she wants her flag. She also showed pictures from viewers all over the world, who took pictures with a picture of her and sent it in.

Ellen sent her heart out to everyone in Haiti, and suggested you text HAITI to 90999 and donate $10 to the relief fund from your cell phone bill.

“Edward Norton” was the first guest today, you may remember him from movies such as “Primal Fear” “The Incredible Hulk” “Red Dragon”, and many many others. He shared pictures with us from his trip to Bali where his dad is. Edward started following “Barack O’Bama” before he was ever elected. He and two other film makers have been going with the President since about a year before he won. The documentary is out on DVD, and the soundtrack is available on I tunes.

One of a former “audience hidden talents” was the next guest on the show today. Nick Fatera, who has almost 45 million hits on Youtube, is not a singer by trade, he works for Disney. Singing is just a hobby for him. He sang a song that you might recognize from the show “Glee” called “Don’t Stop Believing” They split-screen him, and he sang a duet of the song, with his own voice singing both parts of the song.

Ellen’s third guest today was “Jim Parsons” from “The Big Bang Theory.” He spoke of how they work right across the lot from each other. He has just won a “People’s Choice Award” for the show. Jim is from Houston Texas, and his family, who is still there, and they are so thrilled. Ellen gave him an Ellen plate and mug, and wineglass because the old Ellen coffee cup that he had before, was so worn that Ellen’s name had came off. After him, Shawn Farquhar came out to show off his magical skills. He was pretty amazing!

And that’s it for today’s “Ellen DeGeneres Show”! I know you will Buzz up and Retweet for me won’t you? Thanks, and as always, thank you for reading, hope you enjoyed!
