Jan 18 (THAINDIAN NEWS) On the opening segment of today’s “Ellen DeGeneres Show” Ellen shared with us one of the Christmas presents that Portia gave to her. Because they live on a farm, and there is a lot of land to walk, Portia gave her a Segway, which is a two-wheeled personal riding vehicle. While Ellen was sharing a funny story about falling off of the Segway, she fell off! She was unharmed obviously, since she danced all around the audience.This ride has no breaks, and so when Ellen wants to stop, she has to lean backward, to go forward she leans forward, and the same goes for both sides. Basically to completely stop, she has to find a perfect balance. Otherwise…we all fall down.

Today on her show, Ellen had the ten year old twins, Demtrius and Darius Gillespie, who you may have seen on the show before. She had given them a WII the last time they were here. Darius looked at Ellen and says” We kinda had an accident,” and then went on to explain that he didn’t have the WII strapped to his hand as he should have, and it flew forward and messed up their television. Ellen told them that if they would sing for her, maybe she could fix that. After they performed “Oh Baby Give Me One More Chance” Ellen gave them a 42 inch Vizio T.V. She told them to be careful this time, and everyone laughed.

Jake Pavelka from the hit show “The Bachelor” was the next guest on today’s “Ellen DeGeneres Show.” They discussed the fact that many of them women come on the show just to be on television. He said that he did fall in love while filming this show, with more than one woman. He said that most people think your heart can only love one person at a time, but this is simply not true. Although filming is done on the show, he did not share with us whether or not he chose anyone. Ellen told him that she feels he will end up with Ali.  A new episode of “The Bachelor” will be on tonight at 8 pm.

“Keith Urban” came out next, and the audience went wild. He won a People’s Choice Award, and said that he was blown away by it. He also got four Grammy Nominations. “Keith Jonas” chose one of Keith Urban’s songs, “Only You Can Love Me This Way” for his wedding song over the Holidays, so Keith did the song on the show today, and dedicated it to them. Keith and Nicole have a new baby girl.
