Ellen said her back is out, and it happened,she is pretty sure, when she was getting a massage, at the mall, by Santa. She said she now knows not to go there for a massage. Then she went on to say that she got a massage at home, by a professional masseuse, and it somehow hurt her back, so she can’t dance, and she is on heavy drugs, and she has a bunny named “Nancy”.

Then she called out the final six dancers from “So You Think You Can Dance” . The performed a dance that was part synchronized choreograph, and part individual solos. Ellen expressed how awesome they were,and informed us that she was planning to do all of those moves, before she hurt her back.

“John Mayer” was today’s guest on “The Ellen DeGeneres Show”.  His new album is out, and he sent out a Tweet that he would be on the show. Ellen mentioned that he might want to start following her on Tweet , so he will know what she says. He laughed, but added that she had the most fun talk show he had ever been on, that he felt drunk. Ellen then showed a clip of them singing together in the bathroom. She said after that she was sure that he would call her for his next CD, but instead he called “Taylor Swift”. He said he would have called Ellen, but that he wanted to give a young new star a chance. They both spoke of how genuine Taylor Swift is. Ellen mentioned that a few of his songs were so beautiful. “Heartbreak Warfare” was one of her favorite, and she commented on how his pain and learning in life brings out the most awesome music and songs. She played a game with him called Celebrity, and named famous “Johns” They had to give hints and guess the names: Johnny Carson, John Wayne, Jon Stewart, Jon Bon Jovi, John Gosselin, John Lythgoe, Elton John, Dwayne Johnson, John Lenin, John F Kennedy, Johnny Cash, John Legend, and John Mellencamp. John Mayer performed his hit single “Who Says”. Everyone in the audience got a copy of his new CD.

She then had one the world’s best contortionist, Lily Stephanova. She was doing quite well, and was interrupted by the “Twelve Days of Christmas” Ninth day of giveaways. They all got a Lush Legends Gift set and a fifty dollar gift card, a one hundred fifty dollar Sport Chalet gift card, Home Depot tool bag with two hundred dollars worth of tools and a one hundred fifty dollar gift card, gifts from the Pottery Barn and two hundred dollar gift cards, and 10 speed bicycles from specialized.com.

Ellen called back the family that “The Ellen DeGeneres Show” had given twenty five thousand dollars to in November, and gave them all tickets to Disney World in Florida for Christmas. They had four young sons and have gone through a tough year, with the husband being laid off from work. They were able to pay off some debt, and pay for the wife to go back to school to get re-certified as a teacher, the husband took as job that was a forty thousand a year pay cut, but they are doing better now.

Then the audience all got one last gift: a two thousand dollar “MICHELE” watch.
