The Deep End: A Marriage of Proxy

Feb 5 (THAINDIAN NEWS) Dylan represents a young Asian women married an American solider who was deployed for war six months later is now suing to stay in the United States since her husband was killed in combat. To complicate her situation she is nine months pregnant and in the eyes of the law premarital sex does not consummate the marriage therefore deporting her back to her county, which is something Sterling Law Firm is trying to avoid. When immigration hears of the lawsuit they speed up deportation having her board a plane out of the country in 19 hours.

Giving birth to a son and willing to give him up for adoption to keep him in the United States, Dylan comes across information from the company she worked for and they agree to keep her employed so her visa can be reinstated long enough for the new bill to pass making it legal for her to stay in America.

Beth and Addy represent a wom an who is claiming sexual harassment against a lingerie design company. When Beth questions Mr. Reynolds about how he treats his models they get a chance to hear for themselves his distasteful remarks at women. Although not finding anything he says to be sexually harassing, this seems to be the case as well for their client, advising her to drop the lawsuit. Addy and Beth have another angle at finding fault with Mr. Reynolds, they discover that he does not allow women to advance in the business discriminating against equality. Realizing his lingerie design company may be a risk in the lawsuit he agrees to change his policy and issues has against women.
