The Daughter Of Rudy Giuliani Detained On The Charge Of Shoplifting At A Cosmetological Sore In Manhattan

Washington, August 05, 2010 (Just Flashed): Republican Rudy Giuliani happens to be an accomplished lawyer and also the earlier mayor of New York City. Caroline Giuliani happens to be the younger of his two daughters from his matrimony, now dissolved, with Donna Hanover. Hanover happens to be a television correspondent and actress.
It has now been reported that Caroline had been detained by the police on Wednesday on the accusation of shoplifting at a cosmetological store in Manhattan. The police personnel have uttered that the 20-year-old Caroline was observed selecting makeup furtively on the security video recording.
The spokesperson of the New York Police Department happens to be Paul Browne. He has mentioned that Caroline was detected choosing five objects, the cumulative value of which was more than $100, at the store of Sephora in Manhattan. Browne has mentioned that the officials of the store alerted the police about the stealing but refrained from pursuing the matter further. However, Browne has divulged that the police officers seized Caroline on the charge of committing petty larceny.
Caroline departed from the police area on Wednesday evening and rapidly boarded a SUV with her Mom. Caroline declined to issue rejoinders to the queries of the reporters. The spokesperson of Rudy Giuliani has declared that the media should honor the privacy of his daughter.
Caroline is scheduled to come into view in the courthouse on August 31. Erin Duggan happens to be the spokesperson of the Manhattan district attorney’s workplace. Duggan has stated that the workplace of the district attorney had not resolved whether to formally initiate indictments against Caroline.
Caroline is supposed to be on bad terms with her father, Rudy Giuliani. Caroline had declared herself as a backer of the presidential campaign of Barack Obama in 2007 by enrolling herself in his Facebook community. This embarrassed Rudy as he was then looking to be the Republican candidate for the President of America. Giuliani was eventually defeated by the Republican Senator, John McCain, who was trounced by the Democrat, Barack Obama.
