‘The Dark Knight Rises’ Not The Last Batman Movie For Christian Bale?

christianbaleJan 23, (THAINDIAN NEWS) The shooting of the much awaited sequel to ‘The Dark Knight’ is about to begin and the excitement of the Batman fans have reached a crescendo. The sequel which has been named ‘The Dark Knight Rises’ will also be directed by ace director Christopher Nolan who directed the earlier film. There have been some changes in the cast of the film and as expected this film will no longer have actor Heath Ledger who immortalized the character of Joker in the previous film. Actor Christian Bale is going to play the savior of Gotham City this time as well. In a recent interview given to a media entity the handsome actor said he is not sure whether this would be his last Batman flick. Earlier he had hinted that this would be the last film where he will don the mask of the iconic superhero.

‘The Terminator: Salvation’ star said in the interview “Well, I wouldn’t say definitely. If Chris goes, ‘Hey, I’ve got another story I think could be interesting, then yeah, great, I’d go do that.” The director has not made anything clear on this issue either though he also indicated this would be the last Batman flick directed by him. The upcoming Batman film will also have actors Tom Hardy and Anne Hathaway in two important roles.

The film is slated to release in July next year. The director has to live to the expectation of his fans who want another masterpiece from him. The industry sources report that the director will shoot his film in various locations including Bucharest, Detroit and Los Angeles.
